WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the PA-DE-sNJ Certification Committee is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

Gayle and Sarah’s love for the kitchen along with a deep understanding of the importance of nutrition, motivated them to develop snacks to help refuel before, during or after athletic events. As both a student at Elizabethtown College and captain of the school’s triathlon team, Sarah decided to package and sell their granola snacks on campus.
