Do you ever find yourself in need of a quick take-along snack that can be easily portable, healthy, but ultimately delicious? Look no further!

These Maple Granola-Crusted Pecans are perfect for many reasons but here are just a few.  There are no added oils or fats aside from the natural fats from the nuts themselves, they are coated with a touch of maple syrup, and loaded with crunchy maple granola.  They are incredibly easy to make and work well as a quick snack or even mixed into yogurt. They would also make a wonderful gift with a little creative decoration.

Go ahead and give your pecans a little pizzazz!


Maple Granola-Crusted Pecans

Make about 2 cups 


2 cups raw whole pecans

1/4 cup organic pure maple syrup

1/2 cup Muddy Waffles granola

pinch of sea salt


Heat oven to 350 degrees.  In a large bowl, coat the pecans with the maple syrup.  Stir in the granola and salt.  Lay out the nuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.  Bake for 10-15 minutes or until granola begins to toast slightly.
